Ive never played a more bug infested game in my life. The game is full of gamebreaking bugs, and you get stuck in quests all the time. Maybe finish developing the game before you charge full price, as it is now its down right unplayable …
because its unplayable some people did already finish the game…
thanks
Just bad luck is what it is. I have 101hrs played with hardly any bugs, just minor ones. I’ll be sure to follow future developements by Warhorse Studios now. They’ve done marvellously.
I found the original dragons age to be much buggier, to the point where I rage quit after 25 to 30 hours of trying. I find bethesda games pretty buggy on release too. I’m not saying KCD isn’t buggy, it certainly is and some are nasty (I’ve been lucky enough to not have any game breaking quest bugs and the few crashes I’ve had did not lose me much gameplay time, and I’m about 60 hours in, but others report worse experience than I), just that it seems to be the unfortunate and frustrating truth of new releases these days…
because getting to the end scene is whats its all about, not the bug infested frustrating jorney to get there … its all about the rolling credits right … duh …
no its not about gtting to the end, but saying its unplayable is totally stupid…
well i disagree - the game in the current console state is unplayable - if you want to enjoy the game … yeah i could ignore all the glitches, or npc’s not doing what they are supposed to if they even show up. I can ignore getting stuck in doors or in little pools of water and whatnot. i can even ignore the horrible ui, the messy menu system and the terrible controls … if i did that, we could agree on one thing - i could get to the end scene … but in the current state id rather ride naked on an old donkey across antarctica …
ok have fun dude…
I dunno what this game is. It has a good story and that’s about the only thing going for it ATM. PC folk can still get away with I looking good but us console peasants have been sold a dud.
Yk I don’t understand, maybe somebody can shed some light and answer this. If this game was primarily designed for PC, why the hell was it released on console???
The game engine they using is way demanding for consoles and basically everytime they patch it’s like re-downloading the game (yes Ik how cryengine update process works) but wtf. It’s like I have dld 3 versions of the same game in one week and it’s progresavley gotten worse.
Yk I can understand if this was a PC only game and somebody with a low/mid range PC was bitching, but for us console players wtf are we supposed to do. Don’t tell me "oh you should be playing on PC (I have a PC well able to play this game) but I choose the ps4 pro version because ATM it’s my platform of choice.
Sheeez. They fucked us console players over big time.
It obviously has problems for many people, but its not “completely unplayable” for everybody. I’m about 65 hours in and so far have had no game breaking bugs (yes, some crashes and such, but no corrupt saves or broken quests). Clearly I’m just lucky, but my point is that its not “completely unplayable” for all, even if it is for some people… I’m on PS4 btw.
Yes it is playable, but to an extent. I have not experience a crash yet but the texture pops are annoying and the frame rate drops are irritating. I have about 35 hours of game play
I’m on a ps4 pro
Oh I forgot to mention all the clipping …it’s bad
well im glad to hear, and i probably will give it another go when my blood stops boiling again. Its just sad and frustrating that i really have to consider shelving a brand new title for months before its patched up to a point where its actually good. I would advice everyone to hold up on buying this game until it comes on sale - then the majority of bugs might be fixed and you get it for half the price …
