I just started a hardcore mode playthrough and within the first hour I got stuck in an eternal loading screen, meaning I’ve lost that entire hour and have to start the whole thing again. Are you sure no autosave is a good idea with a game this unpredictable and unstable?
I have had that happen also. Sometimes it would resolve itself and work, but
other times it was fatal and it had to be restarted.
