Hardcore mode totally broken!

Erik missing in Vranik has been the only MQ breaking issue I’ve had on vanilla PS4. That said, I’m a grinder. So, some MQ disrupting bugs were fixed as I was hunting enemies

They released an alpha state broken game never been betatested before

They lost the 95% of playerbase already after a month

They take ages to release a friggin patch

They finally release a patch and patch notes are always extremely vague (we fixed 40 bugs) but no one ever known which ones

The patches released broke the game even more

Optimization is still garbage

Pathfinding is still garbage

Animations are still garbage

Layers of clothes / pieces of armor are still rendered like garbage

Horse mane still coming out through the horse vest and still garbage looking

Only 11% of people who bought the game managed to finish the game

… but hey, we can pay 6 dollars to rebuild Pribislavitz!!! Good job people, that is your priority. Milking out the money from the 5% of playerbase left

I doubt a low of a number as 11%. More, way more, most likely. I am on the PS4 Pro playing this game, and I’ve only run into a couple of minor bugs in both of my play throughs. I’ve never run into game breaking or quest breaking bugs. Hell, Capon came back for me in my Hardcore play through, for instance. Heck, I have a buddy playing on PC, he’s run into more bugs than I, and he’s managed to finish the game and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I get that you’re angry, but your experiences and mine, are not all that there is. I’ve run into worse during Skyrim’s early days, as well as various other games, . Everything is going to be OK, dude. The world isn’t falling. Take a deep breath. Go play something else if you aren’t enjoying this experience.

The pop in at the VERY LEAST is EVERYONES problem. Not just one or two people. So you’re saying that you think that type of problem in a game is acceptable?

Numbers dont lie

Dont forget that in Skyrim, bugs could be bypassed via console commands. KCD bugs are far worse in comparison, you cant do anything about, cannot even bypass them with commands. You are at the mercy of a broken game

On PC and worked perfectly for me. Even caught the birds faster despite my crappy FPS
I also competed the game once so far.
Had my share of bug and corrupted saves and wtf bugs. some were caused by mods, others by patches.
Guess I am more stubborn and like this game.

Nice that you mentioned Skyrim and numbers LOL

Richard the turd, while being a cranky little shit, has some vaild points.

They are about to drop dlc and new changes, resting ontop of still not solid foundations. In my opinion, It is asking for trouble and frankly I do not have faith in their QC so far. And the testers. (How the fuck that circle for gallop got passed any testing with a controller is beyond me).

Now they have already had their good grace as far as I am concerned regarding the seriously unfinished product that was delivered on February 13th(fact). The game for me is not a one off thing.

I’m more looking forward to what comes after KCD. What they are doing right now is testing the patience of even people who have been fairly reasonable so far, so they need to be extra vigilant dropping the patch’s and QC.

Yes numbers are very important:

Skyrim - 7 years old

KCD - 6 months old

I reloaded a previous save and game still broken. I reloaded the save before that save and game still broken. I reloaded the save before both saves and game still broken.

I will make a last attempt restarting hardcore mode once again from scratch. If it breaks again, i will uninstall this shite of a game once and for all. I’m just ******** tired of it. Will not buy a Bughorse game ever again. Whenever Bughorse will create a KCD 2, is better they sell the game license to someone else who is capable to release a game in decent conditions

IMHO releasing hardcore mode so soon, without having a sound, stable and solid game bug-wise was suicidal. I haven’t had any issue with this game other than some armor clipping and the recent impeccable outfit bug, and my experience has been very positive (started serious playthrough in 1.5) so I can’t complain. BUT I’m aware that people still have serious issues and I can’t for the life of me understand why would you restrict saving even more in a game with some serious risk of messing things up.

Certainly KC:D was a bit overhyped at its release for a non-mainstream game. And I probably wouldn’t like the game if it really become popular among plebs. With all these autistic Skyrim shitposting and nude anime mods
Playing hardcore mode, zero bugs so far (except those new clothing issues), btw

I have been playing hardcore fashion for over 40 hours and have not noticed a bug yet. Every quest has worked perfectly so far.

Given your reaction, I wouldn’t play until 1-2 patches after ashes. In the interim, I’d delete the app and then reinstall upon said re-try. I’d bet money the new DLCs have tampered with the core game; it’s not just a new LEGO block added on top of an old LEGO block

What’s pop in? Textures load just fine for me, even that I have potato PC (but playing on low). I guess you shouldn’t try to play on ultra with all HD packs installed if you have the same crappy hardware as me

Show a youtube video of you riding your horse around rattay or at the very least sprinting. If you don’t do that then I don’t believe you one bit sasau

if the new run im goin to make soon will break as well, i will just uninstall the game once and for all. This game already have tested my patience way too long. I uninstalled much better games in the past for much less.

It’s like you have a car which has a broken body, broken tyres, broken wheels, broken brakes, broken seatbelts, broken doors and broken engine, and you were asked “purchase new seatbelts, car will improve after getting them”.

No it’s not, even with new seatbelts the rest of the car is still friggin broken. And we know KCD will not improve even after 45 patches. On the other hand, however, there is a great chance the dlc will break the game even more than now. As usual.

this game is just a lost cause.

There are plenty of pretty smooth playthroughs of KC:D on Youtube, I wouldn’t bother (I personally like Lady Lilia’s one). Not to mention that my PC ain’t capable to record stuff. What a strange pretentious suggestion, anyway. First you have to show what ‘pop in’ is and prove that it happens constantly, not just occasionally.
And if you were trying to say that you can break the game if you really try to - well I can agree. This is true for most games

Minecraft, The Forest, ArmA I, Operation Flashpoint, Gothic 4 (and 3 partially), STALKER, 7 Days To Die.

If you have an Evo, you’ve got an Evo. Now, you can drive and maintain that Evo any way you want. But, if you sincerely want to get enjoyment and longevity out of it, you need to accept that reality and treat the car in a particular way. Otherwise, it’s going to drive you mad.

Unplayable? How many hours do you have in this game?
