Ever since I messed up once with a wayfarer they all hate me and I have to pay absurd amounts of money to even talk with them. I have already wasted around 4k… please can this be fixed!
You have to raise your reputation in that area. Taking on bandit quests and performing other odd jobs for innkeepers, huntsman, etc will help bring it back up.
There’s reputation for the road? Where’s it show up on?
Ah, I glossed over the wayfarer. Is it based on the nearest town? A hold-like system like Skyrim has? If its just the road and his reputation is high in the towns, then I’d assume its a bug.

I believe it is a bug but hoping developers can enlighten on the situation.
People in a determined area of the map won’t talk to you if your reputation with that part of the map is very low, I’ve experienced this aswell but I could talk with others just fine…
The thing is all my places have a good reputation and the wayfarers wherever across the map make me pay ridiculous money to speak to them. Sometimes it’s 850!
Same with metal master. I have great reputation almost everywhere but everyone refers to talk.

Hopefully the devs can acknowledge this for us.
I think mine are bugged i can only pickpocket, no option to talk shows up at all.
I’m having the same problem and then even when I pay them nothing changes I still have to pay when I see another one. Also it can’t be reputation because my rep is flawless in most of the areas I stop to greet wayfarers.

mine only shows pickpocket as well, is that a bug?
