HD Texture packs should also be released on consoles. We are delay in patches and we also don’t get as much as PC players?

At the cost of FPS, I’d take this option. Would be great to at least have a choice of better graphics quality like volumetric fog or better FPS.

Wow, this forum really has gone to shit in the past month. Sad because it was pretty decent when kcd launched.
The xbone can barely run it as it is. If you own one of those you should seriously consider letting your dog bury it in the back yard were it belongs. I’m very happy with how it looks on ps4. Better than pc if half of what the trolls say is true.
I’m on a X and I have to agree with you. I just want to be able to play the game period right know. The stutter is like watching a slide show. If they added the HD it would be like looking at a painting. It would freeze.
I have an Xbox One X & PS4 Pro. While I think they could run the game with better textures, right now it’s not a good idea.
The game is not optimized enough, with texture pop-up and so on.
I would work perfect it before updating it

Yeah forgot about the texture pop ups. So yeah they have to stabilize it first before adding new textures
I’m using xbox one x and the game runs best on xbox one x. Tho the base xbox one really can barely run it. I just hate the texture pop ups here and there
The game runs fine on my one X but the draw distance and pop in is the worst. If you compare the game to other popular open World Games then you see how poorly optimized the game really is:
Assasins Creed Origins: 4k chekerboarded good drawdistance
Far Cry 5: native 4k and a rocksolid framerate very good drawdistance
Ghost Recon Wildlands: Stable 30 fps and 4k
KC:D 2k unstable framerate and very poor drawdistance…
I think that KC:D is too CPU hungry for Consoles that was it’s mistake

More like the RAM on the consoles … that’s you’re problem
The RAM on the x is good. The CPU is the problem. GPU has 9gigs.
The only time I get popup is when I gallop at full speed through the streets of Rattey. This is something that would be very dangerous in real life and probably get you in the stocks for repeated offenses in that era, so the immersion is not really broken for me.
No need for graphical updates, we just need a stable game to be able to play without any game breaking/suspending glitches and bugs!

It is taking awhile but it will get there. Then maybe a HD pack a ways down the road. Fallout 4 and Skyrim both have HD so it isn’t totally fiction.
