Head Bobbing, FOV, and Motion Sickness

[PS4-Pro] I’m experiencing terrible motion sickness with KCD. I love the game, but the headaches and nausea are really getting to me. Please allow us to:

  1. Turn off Head Bobbing.

  2. Have more control over FOV (for instance Battlefield 1 causes me no motion sickness because of the excellent FOV controls.

If these two options were allowed it would significantly improve the game and allow greater access for everybody.

Thanks!

[PC] I found this old thread, and thought I’d add to it. I believe the motion-sickness issue should be a high priority for the devs.

Some of the nausea in my case is due to the motion blur, which can be deactivated using the settings. But the bobbing/swaying of the camera is still an issue (cl_bob 0 and cl_headbob 0 did nothing), and I still get motion sickness - the effect of your body reacting to one thing and your eyes experiencing another, which confuses your senses. Truth be told, I’m a Navy vet, and I hadn’t felt this sick since I traversed the North Atlantic.

I would highly recommend that the option to turn off these features be presented to players at the very beginning of the game, after they play a few minutes in the prologue. I believe the nausea-issue is prevalent, and that these features heavily detract from an otherwise excellent game - far more than any “bug”. Or rather, the difficulty for new players to turn these features off…

AHAHAHAHA Oh My. God.

I can’t make up my mind which of these music videos fit Henry’s Parkinson’s head bobbing demential better. Especially since in any of my working games, he wasn’t even hung over :joy:

Is it this one (more probly experienced by console players limited at 30fps)?

Or this one (more probly experienced by PC players at 60FPS+ )? :joy::joy:
