Henry goes barefoot if I equip plate chausses

Can anyone help out here?

If I equip plate chausses (leg armour), it seems that henry then goes barefoot. There is a layer of plate armour over the top of the foot, but you can clearly see his toes and heels, and that he’s barefoot underneath the plate armour.

I forget which one I equipped. I think it was just “common plate chausses” or something like that.

I assume there is some kind of shoes you can combine with this, but whenever I try and put some on, they replace the armour, instead of being worn over/under the armour.

Anyone?

You need mail chausses they go under the plate chausses and cover your toes lol

There were a lot of clipping issues with shoes and leg armor. Their solution? Not let you wear shoes.

There are half armors that allow you to wear shoes if that is important to you, or you want the extra stam from the perk.

That specific armor doesn’t have the footwear of more modern plate, it’s not a bug :stuck_out_tongue:

I wasn’t suggesting it was a “bug”. But, as I’m pretty sure in real life, knights didn’t get around barefoot, there was probably something that went under them.

“Chainmail” is kind of a half answer I guess. I suppose there should be some kind of shoes that can be worn under it. They just haven’t implemented them in the game.

Chainmail is the only answer at the minute think because it says its padded but 100% agree they should be more options
