Yea… when a bandit knows and greets you, you know something is wrong.
There is a differance between know you and throwing a parade for you everytime you visit a village. I mean take Sasau att the inn’s, you just sit and play dice. And I end up muting the game because EVERYONE who walk past you are ‘‘Henry is here!!’’ ‘‘Henry has come to see us!!’’ And you can walk behind Hanush, Divish or who ever else character in the game and they don’t say anything, it’s just Henry. Sometimes this game makes me feel more like the dragonborn then Skyrim…
Agree ! It must be reworked. Too many “Hi Henry” “Henry is here” …
The fun thing is that you can get this kind of reaction from people you had never, ever even talked to.
When it happened at some mill I was kinda “Wth?? Do I even know you?”

Well of course you’re going to end up being an Alpha Male/Demi God. That’s how it is in games and movies. The main character you’re supposed to take a liking to never loses an arguement, never gets humiliated, but if he does he’ll get revenge and it’ll be even more humiliating, he’s always a ladiesman, he’s always good looking, he’s always the hero, etc etc.
It would be boring otherwise.
All Henry has to do is find some nightengales or poach some skins for a crooked Tanner and then he’s a legendary hero. I can be stumbling drunk and the npcs don’t care about that… They are just so excited Henry has graced them with his presence. It’s clear this was implemented and absolutely no effort went into balancing it out as well as many other things… They just wanted to fix as many bugs as possible before release which led to nothing being balanced at all in the game.
A very funny thing is when you find a dead body on the road and you realize that the person supposed to ambush you and set you up, greets you and you hear that greeting voice in the middle of the bushes by completely spoiling himself ahaha

My best was when I got frustrated in Rattay over this so I took out my axe and… took out some frustration on the nearby people and then people who saw that was running away ofc, but while they was running for there life ‘‘Henry has come to see us!’’

You misheard them:
“Henry has come to slay us!” 
A few greeting would be alright, and more frequent from traders and named npcs that you spoken to. I also think these are the only ones that should adress you by your name.

Well, I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, the area doesn’t have a huge population. Like a small town, everyone seems to know everyone (and their business). But it does seem a bit out of place when people seem to know the main character without much frequency. I could definitely see traders that I’ve been to greet me with recognition, but not the average townsfolk.
But, on a related note, I really appreciate the details given to the noble-peasant relationships. Getting talked down to by a noble, and having henry give frank replies (and not being received well by the nobles) was a great touch! It really helps set the tone of societal relations during the period. Its one thing to read about feudalism, but its quite another to ‘experience’ it. Great job, Devs!
Exactly, I reach new towns I never been too and they start saying “Hey Henry is Here” and Im like…Lame

Even your best buddies fitz and matthew greet you with something along the lines of we are humbled to speak with a knight such as yourself, but then once you start talking to them they act like life long friends again. Kind of odd, not sure if its by design or not.

Is welcome Henry annoying shi.t gone after patch? I started a new game and when I enter Skalitz I remember there was some of this but now it is gone…
