Henry's rise

Those weren’t actually my first thoughts, but they’re great examples. I thought about the way Richard The Lion Heart died (shot by a French crossbowmen, while he was inspecting the siege lines), and Emperor Alexius the first (Byzantine empire) who fled a battle with three lance points sticking out of his armour, so clearly three people tried to kill this guy despite him being an emperor.

Henry the Fifth of England was shot in the face by an arrow ( he actually survived) while he had his visor open, King Peter of Aragon lead a charge against French crusaders and was thrown from his horse and killed, even though he shouted “I’m the king”.

And those are just off the top of my head.
