Heraldry is huge during this period, what about the game?

I wonder what heraldry will be like in the game, especially if your character is raised to knighthood from a blacksmiths son. This should provide an excellent RPG opportunity for the player to pick custom heraldry for his shield design/house sigil.

Just imagine if there was followers and your squire is carrying around your personal standard during battle!

It’s a nice idea! And it could also be associated with factions.

I already have the motto for my heraldry “Plaga Omnis”. It will show an armored knight with a raised open palm in the support columns. The faction name is the Chivalric order of Slap-alot.

Custom heraldy would be awesome.
The question is if it is possible to choose you own coat of arms how many heraldic charges will be included? There are a lot of them.

I sent warhorse a message about this on kickstarter when I first pledged, they said ‘It is being considered. But maybe not for Act 1. We will see.’ so I guess there wont be an opportunity for knighthood until act 2?

But Im pumped to get my coat of arms in game!

it could mean you don’t get to choose your coat of arms. maybe you can still be knighted but you have to wear non fiction coat of arms, which is preferable anyway.

it would be nice playing as a man at arms of a retinue to a knight. less responsibility

Also what could be nice is that you get to make your own sigil but only from historic models, you can put a lion for example but not a fantasy one, one that really existed… so with shapes and designs that existed !

That would be awesome
