I thought this thread was closed anyway, looks like it has returned from the dead
I just wrote it to @TobiTobsen.
And just to make that clear: just because I study theology does not mean I am against homosexuality, neither in this game, nor in common. And I really hope people would stop taking Christianity or Religion as excuse for hating homosexual people. The things about âA man lying with a man shall be punishedâ is right before some strange laws about clothing âWho weares clothing made of two different fibres shall be stoned.â We don´t care about that either so why do we care about the things about lying with a man? Because it´s an easy excuse. That´s why.
Sorry about the rant guys, it´s more rough than I used to be. I´m just tired of it.
As a student of theoligy I have to deal with that way to often. so againâŚsorry >-<
indeed it isnt that is my mistake , it is in the bible tho and a very hot topic for any religious person
Thatâs the right think to mention - the context of absurd laws of Leviticus. Old testament was not the only or primary source of law during middle ages. It was just an authority you could invoke to support your point. In fact your opponent would surely quote another verse of another Old Testament book which perfectly contradicts your point. But I am sure you know it very well as a student of theology.
the main problem i have is the media portraying it as the "normal ". alot of people would say that being gay is natural and normal and saying otherwise is homophobic but if everyone is actually honest they would agree it isnt normal for a man to lay with man or woman and woman , after all the whole point of finding a âmateâ is to breed if we go to the core of it and two men cant breed therefore it simply cant be natural we are designed to be straight and create a child to further mankind ,
so there has to be a kind of line between teaching people to treat gay people as what theyâre .people . and respect them but at the same time to teach children that we are supposed to go with the opposite sex
The law about clothing is probably old testament. Jesus made it to were we wouldnât have to stone people for things like that anymore when he died on the cross. His rule about homosexuality carries over to the new testament. I never said i hated gays its against my religion to hate anyone you are supposed to hate the sin not the person. Another thing i dislike is how pushy they are and how the media has made it seem like half the population is gay. Of course your only argument is âim a haterâ. Again im wondering why this thread has not been closed seeing how they are going to be make less than 3 percent of the population part of the main game. Go back to tumbler if you want to be a social justice warrior.
I guess everybody made his or her statement. Even we did. So letâs end it here
