I’m kind of a pack rat and a big part of the game is nullified ( fear plus consequences of being searched) by the guards only looking at my personal inventory. Developers - it would be really nice if you could add an option for us to make this happen. I’m on PS4.

I Know it’s not realistic for them to not search your horse. But I’d rather they didn’t. I think it’s fine how it is.

How could I know what this horse was carrying? I just stole it… lol
How could they search my horse when it’s in another town while I teleport items back and forth to it until I need to make a hasty retreat and whistle for it?
I lost a noble bridle + saddle (stolen from Neuhof) after a search, how does this search thing work exactly? Horse inventory is not searched but equipped items are? Also, sometimes, just before the the guard has reached me, I can access my inventory and throw away all stolen items, they pile up in front of the guard which doesn’t seem to rise any suspicion and sometimes I can’t access my inventory even when out of sight.
