I can confirm if you dont pick the workers properly not only will the Bailiff no longer talk to you the only person who gave me a quest reward was Pickman with the Sheba sword piece. Lucky i saved right before I talked to Bailiff ! Lol
it always pissed me off that the guy who promises you a special discount on some armor in sasau never actually came through on that … not sure if thats a bug or if its intended. but either way i want to see a discount and on what i wonder…
It’s that Kornelius I believe that promise the discount.
I tried it; gave him the water job, talked to him again and went to Master Otto (or whatever the name is of that guy on the main street in Sassau). In conversation, I had the option “Kornelius sent me” (or something simular) and that was that. Not sure if the prices where lower after that, but didn’t made a lot of impression on me.
Surely not worth giving that Kornelius prick the job, since money is made fast in this game.

as far as water jobs and who to pick, the girl and the guy with the sheba piece are the only ones that matter. i think his name was pickman. after that i just picked what sounded cool. but even after talking to him about the reward for giving kornelius the job , i never got that dialog from the armor merchant in sasau. thats pretty cool you did though. im jelly.
Well, You might want to give Vincent the third water job, otherwise he will kill himself (the mill girl will tell you). If you care about that sad piece of human wich you don’t really know.
Also, you could give Antonia the cook job. It will save the husband of her, but piss of the merchant since the girl is a terrible cook. But again, how much do you care about a nameless husband or a pissed of merchant (wich will have no further effect on your dealings with him)?

well, i gave the cook job to the girl in the church. and when threasa showed up i did what ever she asked too if you go up to her when its over she gives u gold. i made the other girl carry water, vincent, pickman, and kornelius also on water duty. the rock carried shit . trying to remember what i last did on my 3rd play through is hard. i did this mission early on. … i did it 3 times so far.in my 3/4 play lines.
ps in my 1st play through thresea never showed up at all. i only found out about it on my 2nd playline after seeing it on youtube. … i think she started appearing for me after the 1.3 fix.
I let Bartek, Pickman and Antonia carry water and put Kornelius and Peter on shit hauling duty. The reason being Kornelius and Peter both seemed to be motivated by the mention of double pay - and Antonia carried her dying husband all the way from Skalitz to Rattay, so I figured she’d manage. Tonda tries to bully you into giving him a job, so screw that guy. Outcome so far: Antonia’s husband (SPOILER) died anyway and I found her begging again, so apparently that didn’t work out. And I have no options to ask for further jobs from the bailiff, although he’s still very friendly with me. I didn’t even ask the people what was in it for me, my current Henry is a poster boy for niceness and doesn’t care about such things. Plus what the hell would I need from these people, I have 50 grand just gathering dust in my inventory because there is nothing worthwhile left to buy.
TL;DR I don’t think there is an obvious correct solution - you can pick by who you think deserves it the most, by who you think will do the best job… But the game obviously wasn’t too happy about my choices.

I have talked to everyone but when i go to the bailif there is no option to talk to him about the jobs.

Spoiler: if you give pickman latrine duty you will not be able to complete the Queen of Sheba quest even if you help him with his arm.
there is only one line up that makes the bailiff happy but screws above, google it.
I think to do this job properly, you have to give the guy with the bad arm one of the herb medication concoctions, don’t remember which one and don’t remember if you should assign him water or poop, but whatever you do, give him the medication to fix his arm first.
If you don’t, I guess he’ll be useless at his job and that’s why the bailiff won’t give you work.
