So the beta has been out for a while now and i finally decided to actually try it. everything is great except after fighting the bandits with Reeky my health kept dropping. how do i stop this?
i looked through the forums a bit and found a few topics asking similar questions but no answers.

Bleeding efffect can be stopped by applying Bandages.
You should have a few in your inventory from the beginning. More can by bought from shopkeepers or taken from dead cumans (after you killthem ofcourse)
As for actually healing your wounds (and raising your HP bar to max) you need to eat and/or sleep.

As above, you were bleeding. Use as many bandages as required to stop that. The soldier’s camp arena, and its excellent after combat service, will also cure any injuries you have, as well as bring your HP back to full.
If you borrow armor, they will also clean and repair your armor, and steal all but one of your arrows. So move any arrows to the horse before you do that. It’s probably Lesek stealing your arrows.

Don´t forget the alchemy! You can make a potion.
