Is the only way to buy books from Traders?
Is there no more organic way, or any way that avoids massive amounts of Groschen?

Ive met her, offers training skill, but no recipes.
The only way i know is buying the books. Or you can experiment. If you make a poison wothout the book, youll still get a poison and then also get the recipe added to your recipe book
So technically you can cheat the system by looking up recipes. But i would advise against it. Learn to make money and limit your potions to what you can afford :).

What I am going to do, is pay for some training - and then look up recipes to test/learn, and head cannon that the training I paid for was for the recipes.
