every time i tried to do that the guard attack me and the knock out failed… what i have to do??
Make sure the guard is alone and it’s dark. I also find if the person is standing still, the knock out is easier to do.
but i have to press L2 until the guard is down? if the guard didn’t see me and no one see me i don’t risk anithing for the reputation, right?
Yes, I’ve knocked out so many guards in Rattay and my rep with them has not change. Just make sure no one sees you and you’re not by the body.
Just tresspass and get caught you get arrested and they kick you straight out. No trouble at all.

but you can do that in the morning? because the game cant make me go to the bed in talmberg. says that i have to do something.
The ways I found:
1 - Picking the lock on the chest and stealing the armour (steal the arrows upstairs and sell to trader if you need to buy lockpics)
2 - Knock out a guard and steal his armour
3 - Do something illegal (like getting caught picking the chest lock) and the guards throw you out of town
4 -Jump off the bridge
I would recommend 1 or 2 since that way you can take your horse with you, but the others are options too. 4 is probably the least favourable because you’ll get caught later and spend some time in prison. Not a huge deal though, I did 1 and still ended up in prison because I got caught robbing Kunesh earlier.

better than the set in the chest?
Im having trouble making it night time, it keeps telling me there is no time to lose. does time pass normaly? do i need to wait an hour real time to get it to be night time or something?
then you must solve the quest first, before going to sleep

Same here lol when I was crossing the bridge I said screw it and bailed off the side and ran lol
There are three guard towers in the castle each having 3+ chests, you’re either suppose to steal from one of them, the middle one closest to the drawbridge is rarely guarded at at night or during the day, sometimes one guard walks through it. Trying to steal the stuff at night when they’re sleeping will just wake them up unless you have the quite lockpock perk and that’s not likely.
