I beat him with a sword with a 66 in stabbing. Put bane on it, don’t know if that helped. Hit him a few times. Headcracker popped and I went to the cutscene.

Has anyone beat him before he takes the sword when Henry is getting ready to bury his parents? I got about 20 hits in on him but got cocky then laid out. He is not that hard to dodge but Im not sure Henry can beat him at that point.
No, it´s not possible to beat him the first time…
I tried with 100 arrows,… killed all his friends, but Runt and Zybisek are immortal.

But Zybisek can be killed at the post house dunging fight.
I ran away turned around and Hawkeyed right in the face

Yes latest version.
Mods where used to both power level and save scum but i turned them off for this test.
I killed Zybisek in the prologue in town…he comes back later

How did that effect the rest of the game? He’s the one that gets you out of the camp… is there someone else that rescues you?

I went looking for a cheat (which didn’t work for the Epic version) but when I re-entered the game Runt had got himself stuck in a plank and it was 2-3 shots from a villagers bow and he was down.
TBH I went for a cheat as I was frustrated that I could get this far on a fairly low character and I feel that the game ought to have not allowed you to find/enter/scout the village until a point later in the game when you’d become more skilled.
Anyway, Runt is dead and I’m now going to chill-out and wander through some gorgeous woodlands and start levelling up for whatever is coming next - this game is most enjoyable .
