I have “Equipment trunk key” from one of the early main quests, it has a red hand on it, I cant drop it, sell it or move it to any other storage box.
Im being held and searched by the guards and they claim to find a stolen item while theres no stolen item on my backpack except this key.
Ive skipped days just to see it go away to no avail.
I don’t know it’s because of the quest item or if you are suspicious in any other way because I have a stolen quest item too and don’t get searched in every town. You cant get rid of quest items
I think ure right, coz they have stopped doing that after a while.
must have been some other thing
try to get a good reputation in the town
you can tip merchants or give something to beggars, do sidequest favors for inhabitants etc.
