How do you thing the siege mechanics will work

As I said - prologue. Movements like that don’t just start up because of one man, there was bubbling long before it boiled over. Among much else there was great annoyance with the church for their opulence, trouble with Rome - Western Schism.

And of course the bubonic plague which left peasants both in a position of power and rattled their faith. Position of power in that it killed a great many people, but seed must still be planted, fields sown and so forth, so those that survived where in greater need. They could indeed demand greater pay because of simple market economics - which obviously the ruling class rather disliked.

Oh yes, this is actually interesting - the bit with the plague. The lords tried to legislate harsher serfdom laws after the plague which would actually bind the peasants to the lands…exactly because now there was a shortage of labour and they did not want have to face wage competition. They have succeeded, though only partially.

I hope we see some user controlled catapult action in this game. Anybody remember the old Cinemaware classic Defender of the Crown? I loved that game…

Siege engines, for the exception of small ( say Roman or Greek ) ballista, are not generally operated alone. Perhaps the player could get promoted or take over in a movie cliche sort of way from whoever leads the catapult team.

catapulting rotting corpses over the walls to try get sickness into the city.
