I wanted to reliably count how many villagers I have because numbers in book say 64, in fact I found 38 and maybe few more.
To count them I killed them, but most special and even the generic ones are unkillable, so I lose accurate numbers everytime I KO them again.
Marius is invincible as well as he runs very fast.
What are your counts?
my book says 69 before I got matthew and fritz, but after getting them it stays at 69

I don’t know whom, since I don’t know what they are actually dong there 
69 is supposed to be maximum. And once you invite one, he will replace another, so there will always be same count. It only differs upon building different houses with different capacities.
I was more curious about actual people as I can’t find my 64 people.

I feel like there is a population, a max population anyway. At first announcement we’re like “hey we need people” but they don’t have houses and you havnt hired anyone. Once you, the bailiff, helps build housing (im assuming that a thing) and then personally recruit people they, as mentioned, replace less useful people to maintain the max population…also most of them are “villager” and don’t matter anyway
That said, 69 seems like a lot…

Is here any modder who might advice me how to edit NPCs name? I would like to add names to Pribyslavitz folks to better differentiate them, easier counting.

Wonder how WH came up with 69 as the magical number
Henry’s ruinous behaviour has limited the number in my hamlet to 40. The animations aren’t impressing. Where the heck are Tonda and Pickman carrying water? Who’s tending the tavern garden? And more importantly, who’s the brewmaster? I want to shake his/her hand. All the dang cut wood and haven’t seen anyone use Kunesh’s animation.
Am glad to report I’ve seen some people pray. More than the priest actually. What a guy! Doesn’t keep a copy of the good book or a cross in his home, but he does frequent the tavern.
I (Henry) want to pray that God grants me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things i can, and wisdom to know the difference. And every once in a while, allow me (Henry) to say the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) since 10 starts off Thy kingdom come
70 with Henry. However, the magical number is not realistic, it is almost half less than that. That is is why I do not know what the numbers from structure book mean, true, they may be for some buildings.
Henry doesn’t look sexier, feel stronger, or gain more stamina if the number of villagers is inflated so I don’t know why ashes doesn’t just display the actual number of active NPCs in the hamlet
Villagers may be some of the ones you see walking the foot paths between towns too, every time I leave Rattay to the North I see the same dude…every time. I’m assuming any NPC in a certain range of said village/town is a resident of said village/town
