How to get stuff while still in monastery

If I’m not mistaken I think you can just open the door to the monastery on the side where the guard for the tunnels is. Then you can put the stuff you still want in an unlocked chest and when you are in free time you can come down and get it later. I have not personally tried it because I have already completed the quest. If someone could do this and confirm or prove my suspicions wrong that would be much appreciated.

you could also simply ( with the proper higher skill level) open ALL the doors before you go in ( they stay open strangely BTW) and then can sneak out any time at any part of the place you want to the box you originally dumped your stuff in and on your horse. get a weapon, potions, food, whatever.

The doors were all locked when I started the mission, having intentionally unlocked every door in advance just a very short while before starting.

I’d understand if they routinely locked the doors, but they don’t. They’re still unlocked and even wide open ‘weeks’ after leaving the monastery. So it was a bit of an immersion ruiner having them auto relock just because I’d started a mission (whilst yes, I had semi sabotaged the realism by unlocking in advance, it would have been equally possible for an unaware player to have broken into the monastery previously anyway to plunder it).

Yes, you can store things (V1.6) in the cloister. But they “fixed” the access to your horse (some places inside the cloister). Now you have to go outside of the monastery to get access.

Before i even started to solve who pious is the first thing that was on my mind was how do i get my stuff back without canceling the mission and returning to the monastery like nothing happened with all my stuff(i didnt even know that they would be mark as stolen post mission i just wanted to do that).

So if you go behinde the altar in the place where you have to pray there is a single lock pick there.

Additionally you can trade food for lock picks with a monk npc(cant remember the name but i think you can ask about how to aquire stuff not ment to be in a monastery and you will be directed to that guy).

So as soon as you start the mission/ebter the monastery get that lockpick behindw the altar and unlock a door to exite the monastery, then just make your way to the chest and take all your stuff, keep your monk disguise on you and return to the monastery.

Kill pious take his special dice and just walk out.

You need to be avle to lockpick very hard doors to unlock the door to exit.

If you dont, well then you would have to pickpocket the prior who has the moastery key,if your pickpocketimg skills suck, then wait when he is alone, make sure he doesnt see you and knock him out then just steel the key.

If you do that your stuff shouldnt be marked as stolen then, atleast they werent for me.

The following worked for me in HC. Sneak into monastery before joining (best to go when they are all praying). Drop off all your stuff into a chest (pick location that isn’t restricted and you won’t be seen when you take your stuff out). If you don’t want to fail the ‘get your stuff back’ objective, keep some basic stuff on. Then, join

I confronted Antonius after mass. He admitted guilt so avoided poisoning. Got stuff during break before bedtime. Only hold up was getting the blood.

Double crossed him and took him to jail. The theory is that he would divulge useful info. Let’s run with that. Why doesn’t this action have an impact on Vranik battle (or some other late game event)? This is where KCD comes up short and could benefit from emulating FONV (and others) more. Really hope KCD2 get more development around this concept of impactful decisions
