How to make a horse mine?

Hello dear Henrys,
In Talmberg there are some horses:

  • some I can sit on and steal
  • one I can’t do anything
  • and one I can just take and sit and ride on it (I took it)

But whenever I leave the horse and go some place on foot there’s no way of calling it back to me, I can use the whistle key “X” but it simply doesn’t do anything. I can walk back to the horse though…

How is this supposed to work?

You are the owner and in control of horses given to you or horses you purchased. That’s it!

Thanks RobertEmerald, but How/Where can I buy a horse? I’m running around on foot all the time but never saw someone selling a horse?
I feel that I somehow missed getting a horse in the beginning or something…

It’s not possible to own a random horse. You have to buy it.
