How to repair caparison? Horse armor/saddle

I tried using the armouror’s kit but I cant repair it.

EDIT Found out you gota take it toa tailor, Horseshoes cannot be repaired and the Saddle doesnt need to be repaired as it offeres nothing but capacity

I think you would have to remove it from your horse then take it to the blacksmith
