Here are some little tips and tricks, that might help those of you who struggle with the combat.
I hope some of you will find that useful and actually find joy in the best combat system implemented in a game so far!

Why thank you sir and yes I do think it will be the same, but the combinations will be different.
I’ll get some new weapons and start to train with them, since I’m too deadly with a longsword now,
This will be highly valued info, I just like the crushing blows of the mace and the use of a shield. Really make you feel powerful.
I mean if it can crumple plate armor imagine it against leather 
I think a lacerated limb from a sword that bleeds is still usable but if i break your shoulder or collarbone with a hammer… well you can see whats happening

Question; so in the middle of the screen during combat, there is that star like marker. When one of the star’s tines turn red, what is it trying to indicate?

Greetings friend. The star indicates the directions from which you can attack from. When it’s red it means that you will attack from that direction.
So if the arrow shows that I’m attacking from the right hand side, do I need to move my mouse right as I swing?
Sorry if explained in your later vids. I’ve watched the first two thus far.
No worries. So the star will always be yellow, depending on where you move your mouse (top/left/right/bottom left/bottom right) one of the ,let’s call em beams, will turn red, which indicates that you have moved your mouse there and you’re ready to attack from that side. So let’s say you move your mouse top, the top beam will become red and when you press the left mouse button you will do an attack from the top. The right mouse button will always do a stabbing attack. and the small circle inside the star will turn red.

I was able to beat some looters and such fairly easily, but I had no idea what I was really doing. I figure that soon enough, I will need to know what I’m doing and how it works.

I’m glad I could be of assistance. I will try to make some more advanced videos, with tougher opponents, to show out how all these things play out in a real fight.
