Hello all,
I have the problem that I can’t fight at all. No attacking nor blocking. Neither using a gamepad (emulagted PS4) nor using the PC keyboard.
The only weapon I can take into my hands is the torch. But it doesn’t hit. When being in the training arena I can’t take the sword into my hands.
Anyone seen this before?

Hmm… maybe try to not select the torch in inventory before combat. And maybe try to press 1 for weapon 1 when you are in the arena.
I tried both already but none worked.
It’s a georgeous game but without fighting it’s kind of disappointing 
hmm… is it the tutorial battle or the competition one?
It is a little bit difficult to find out what is the problem exactly, or better, what causes it.

also I was trying to attack pretty much anybody with the same result.
To attack anybody you need a weapon, at the moment there are only longswords and bows in the game. Do you had a longsword in your inventory and did you select it as “use” as you try to attack people? Because the torch does not count as a weapon right now, even if you find it in the invetory slot of weapons, but that is not implemented right now.
I wanted to use the sword the teacher gave me. The sword was underlien yellow in the inventory. However, when pressing 2, it didn’t show up, just the torch on the first slot came up.
when you leave the arena, you give your sword back to the swordmaster automatically. As far as I know 2 is for bow, 1 is for slashing weapon. This can be the torch which does not count as a weapon yet, or the longsword. That is the reason you should not select the torch in the inventory while you want to fight. A selected thing does have a little blue star in the invetory. You select or unselect things in the invetory by pressing E when the thing you want to use is underlined yellow.
