Hello @posined,

welcome to our community, and supporting the game.

@Hound can you check this. I have no idea what´s the problem.

@Blacksmith
Well, just for testing purposes i uninstalled the latest NVIDIA driver to downgrade to the previous version and I get the same results.

What operating system are you guys using to develop/run the game?
And what graphics card/graphics card driver are you guys using?

Win 10 64bit should be fine. The Team use different configs and systems for testing.

I personally use win7 64bit with an older AMD (HD 6950) grafic card and driver.

@Blacksmith

Should i try to uninstall the game and re-download and re-install it? It shouldnt take very long (5-10 min).

Okay lets try this. :slightly_smiling:

@Blacksmith

Okay so i have re-installed the latest version of the NVIDIA drivers and I have also deleted, redownloaded, and re-installed the game.

That is the error message visual studio 2015 is giving me
An unhandled win32 exception occurred in Game.exe [7320].

Maybe thats a good starting point?

Because I am getting low on ideas:
Maybe Visual Studio or Visual Studio Debugger is causing the crash? though i doubt it is it may be worth mentioning.

@Blacksmith
Also, no files are being created in user_game which is where the setting files are stored i believe.

Do you think you can try and upload the files in your user_game directory as a zip file and i can try it?

@Blacksmith
Okay so i just tried to disable JIT and Visual studio but i still get the same error but in a different form:
An unhandled win32 exception occurred in Game.exe [18240]
So it isnt visual studio/debugger

Maybe… I saw it on the video. :wink:

I hope @hound has an idea. He´s the expert. It will last some hours. (It´s midnight in Europa.)

They are normally created after the game starts (first time).

Looks like your config is a difficult task. :slightly_smiling:

Oh well
I may try using my windows 7 dvd to install 7. maybe it will work. ive been conflicting on downgrading for a while and if this fixes my issue then i will

But yeah @hound Pls help :3

I have only little time right now and can’t direct you to the correct download site but try to google microsoft vcredist 64bit and download/install it, could be a missing visiual studio file. You don’t need to install windows 7, the game runs under windows 10 without any compatibility mode.
Maybe you have to deinstall your game, install the vcredist and install the game afterwards again.

Edit: Was easier to find than expected, should be this one(Visual Studio 2015):

A strange bug, not seen it before, this is something new. Thank you for showing us in such a detailed way! :smile:
This is very interesting and we will take a look at it. Maybe @Woody is also interested in this.

Well I’m sorry to say but I installed windows 7 and the game runs but this is bad for you because you won’t know what caused the issue.
If you have any questions I’ll speak from memory

I’m thinking this would have fixed my game.

Worked / hat funktioniert :slight_smile:

I have the same problem and also have AMD Crimson, I verified the cache on Steam and it did find that a file was missing and it re-acquired for me - still wouldn’t run the game. I have also just downloaded and installed the so-called Crimson Hotfix 16.1.1 which has just come out, but still no luck running the game :weary:

Just wait for beta :slight_smile:
