I can't play (fatal error)

Hi !
I bought the game three days ago, yesteday everything was fine (except this awful save system!!) but today, after one hour and a crash, the game said : Fatal Error [PlayerProfiles] CGamesContext:::StartGame: User ‘X’ has no active profile!
I tried to launch the game several times, but while introduction, it crashes anyway with this message.

Have u got a solution, please? :frowning:

I have a similar problem. Every time I try to wait or sleep my game gives me a fatal error and sends me back to the desktop.

This is going to seem drastic but I remember it fixing this error on another cryengine game…

Back up your steam folder then uninstall and reinstall steam.

If it works you can copy your steam files over from the backup.
