Hi all, this is my first post and unfortunately not about the game. I can’t seem to reply to any of the topics already in place. What am I missing?

It appears you have not entered your backer code you should have received via pm on Kickstarter. Only by entering it in your profile will you get the appropriate badge and posting rights to sections other than Meta.
I’ve entered it twice, at creation and then an hour later in the preferences…
Are you saving your settings when entering the key? The button is all the way down in the user settings. Better contact an admin then.
I had the same problem when entered this forum, simply because i didnt know about the kickstarter - pm with the code.
but now it seems to work.
it is irritating that you can open a new topic but cant reply (without entering the code)
a small hint about that would be nice, like: ‘‘you cant write anything here without entering the kickstarter code’’
at the welcome-toipc you just read: '‘This forum is primarily for the backers of our Kickstarter campaign. At this moment, only the backers can contribute to the game-related categories on the forum.’'
but that was (at least for me) not clear enough…
of course that is not you initial problem, just thought that should be mentioned…
Hm, at the moment i can only reply to topics of the category ‘‘meta’’, all others are still grayed-out…

Yes, it’s the same for me too. And I did click on save at the bottom. I think the server might not be registering or updating in real time. Might have to waith a day or two. Thanks for your help!

I’m in the same page. I’ve already entered my KS Code about an hour ago but I can only respond to Meta topics. I should be able to reply to all topics right?
Actually I see the problem. I save the KS code in my profile but then when refreshed, it’s no longer there. I think I need to message Warhorse
I have exactly same problem.
I confirm that I am in “read only” mode in all forums other than meta.
That has nothing to do with my badge since it is still visible.

Same here. I can only reply/post in Meta and German. I created an account a day before I registered my Kickstarter code, but my badge seems to work fine.
nevermind… looks like they just fixed it!
I can confirm that it is fixed for me. 
We are sorry for this complication. It was a bug in Discourse that caught us unprepared. Everything should be OK now.

I have been “Fixed”! 
It’s not much related I guess, but I’m gonna ask here. I cant get to the other language categories. When I open czech or german category, it says “loading” and nothing happens. Do you know what might be the problem?
edit: also “other language” option next to the “unread”, “new” etc doesn’t do anything.
