Hi there, ever since i tried playing the game I couldn’t get past the toturial training session for swordfighting because the game won’t let me slash my sword. Ever since, i’ve tried multiple times to start new game files, load back to previous files, delete and reinstall the game, etc … But i keep experiencing the same problem over and over. I’ve waited for over a week now and i can’t seem to get past this problem. It’s also impossible to get past this quest since it’s the starters quest …
Which platform and version are you playing?

I play on a Playstation 4, version 1.03
May it be your Controller? Can you try a different Controller or remap the Keys?
@dasikiller yes, this should fix it for the time being. Let us know if that actually fix that. Thanks

I’ve just tried to play it with the controller of 1 of my friends and im still unable to slash the wooden sword.
Yea, I bet it’s your controller. I had same problem. I also couldn’t shoot in gta or fully press throttle on Cars. The pressure sensor goes bad. I got a new controller and works fine. Btw you can get through the tutorial if you just wait and do nothing it eventually moves on. It did for me.
Yea I think I’m going to wait until they release a new patch, if i’m still having problems smashing by then, i’ll be looking for a new controller. Thank you all for your fast replies guys
