I don't understand the ham-fisted vegetation downgrade

I never had problems outdoors, 50-70 fps, and forests and fields looked beautiful.

What was problematic are city areas, namely Rattay square.

Why cannot I set vegetation to the previous levels? Why it was needlessly taken from my hands, when it brought zero improvement, and only hugely detrimental downgrade in visual quality?

I certainly don’t like this approach to patching the game, we should always retain the ability to configure the game according to our preferences.

And how do you think the local wild life feel the hares will have less shelter from predators an the cows will have less grass to graze on how could the developers do such a thing what were they thinking
