I have the stream code for the alpha release but can't install it on Linux

That is because the Alpha is only for Windows. The beta is supposed to be for Windows, Linux, and OSX.

That will not work. You can install a second Steam - Client on Wine ( 1.7 ). At least you can download this way. I hardly doubt that the game will run because DirectX 11 is only very poor implemented in Wine. Maybe it is possible to swich to DX10 by config but i don`t know. Good luck.

I run it on fanless netbook with Ubuntu :slight_smile:

Good job, share your knowlege. I would give it a try on my ITX - System ( Ubuntu 14.04 ).
