I dont wanna kill everyone
Lol, for the most part…Back in the day…
I’m sure that old golden rule applied: Strike first, talk later… That and “He who hesitates is the first struct”
don’t kill the ones that surrender or are bound and sitting on the ground.
I also thought that was a missed opertunity. I thought that if you went down the thief path with the millers then you should be able to camp and trade with the bandits. Then again they couldn’t put everything in the game. That would likely add another twenty hrs to the game. Maybe as DLC though.
Solve the bandit problem by infiltration, persuasion, and eventually the death or imprisonment of the rest of them.
a 120 hr game of quality… I’m in!
Dose this open up dialog?
only the surrender: bribe you to let go, let go unconditional, let go minus weapon, continue combat.
the others: pickpocket
Sometimes you can talk to them, I tried the surrender option with some random bandits, it opens up a very funny death threat option.
Yes, Henry should be able to talk to bandits and then decide how a quest ends, with a fight or not.
or, better yet, upon initial meeting the ability to parley should be unpredictable… sometimes, they don’t care who Henry is; they want to rob/kill Henry. other times, they should be open to a greeting and speech check for more
I look at as they are hogging into my turf. YOU give me all your stuff or else! ok. have your way DIE!
yeah, i pretty much exterminate every bandit and Cuman i run across… with some exceptions
If you play Elder scrolls 4 Oblivion. you could talk to bandits and bad mages If you were 100 percent invisible. Sometimes even the Daedra lol.
