the alpha version of Steam will automatically updates to the beta or need to do?

good question, thats what i also want to know. maybe a new key will be displayed at FUND->MY PROFILE->BETA and can be entered again on STEAM or our ALPHA will be updated to BETA , we will see or some moderator will tell us 
If you already own the Alpha, Steam should automatically update and Voila, the Beta is yours! I believe you will be properly notified when the Beta is ready to be downloaded here on forums

I think, if you haven’t played KCD alpha yet, you will have the key in your profile, section "Fund"
And if you played the alpha already, i guess it will update automatically in Steam.
