Interactive AI [Job quests]

So, there will be interaction with AI when you go up to them and talk with them correct?

Example:
AI: Hello, how may I help you?
You: I’m just looking for a job, I need the coin
AI is currently the job hunter
AI: You could slay a dear for me, just bring the carcass to my house so I can skin and clean it.
AI now has free time to go drink so does this instead of the job.
If you do not do the job by sun down his reputation with you goes down.
AI: I will give you 5 gold for it.
AI loses 5 gold however on completion of skinning and cleaning gains 15 gold

This is just an example and an idea / question.

That should be interesting, But what so should be even more fun was let say if we just use your ide there. We kill the animal and plant the dead animal somewhere else, and he get blamed for it and get in prison or have to pay a fine for what you did.

Because warhorse have confirmed that there will be able to blame someone else for what you did

Ohh ohh, the player shouldn’t take that literally and you shouldn’t take the following personally. I know I could be very VERY picky about spelling mistakes but sometimes… oh dear, sometimes I would like to have the people lookup the words first before posting.

I mean sure, yeah, why not kill a beloved but skinning makes him/her look like a psychopath NPC, a real horror scenario. I’m wondering if there’s a place for such a person in this game.

What you’re explaining is not really interactive AI. It’s a simple economical process, nothing else. So I don’t really see the point in this idea, since it’s not about interactive AI. For me interactive AI means reacting on your and other NPC’s behavior, talking with you for a certain reason or letting you know about specific topics, maybe quest or story related stuff. What you’re presenting is a simple dialogue, even simple RPGs offer this.

PS: I guess you meant “deer” in this quoted sentence.

If a loved one goes missing we’ll know you were wrong, or there’s a killer on the loose. :stuck_out_tongue:

You are all wrong! That is awful!

Bohemia in 1403 used mainly Prague Groschen, SILVER coins! Gold ducats was not widely used.

Now that you know that, carry on please.

BTW - Good cow costed around 50 groschen, the same price as 10 shoes or 33.33333333 Hens. So Sword was around 2 and a half cow and Warhorse nearly 25 cows.

From where AI has 5 gold?

Please refrain from such reactions. There is nothing wrong with OP and even if there was I would warn you. Keep the discussion civil.

This is a good question but I cannot answer it.

1 Warhorse = 25 Warcows
I could support this shift in company name

1.2 kg gold for a pair of shoes …? Almost usury

Thanks for letting me know. Now I won’t have to spend all my time looking for gold, I’ll just steal your Warhorse with those stealthy skills I’ll have :stuck_out_tongue:

@MadSmejki Sorry, just can’t buy into a Warcow concept. Warbull, maybe.
