I find alot of interesting places and accidents but there hardly ever anything interesting there. This normal ? I’ve found something very rarely, same with accident side
Yes, I was wondering about this too.
There are already other threads concerning this topic. But yes it seems that there is nothing special about the accidents and the intersting places.
there is not always loot on these places its sometimes just a rotten piece of wood with some carving in it
(like a sculpture) sometimes the loot is well hidden or you have to dig it out.
but yeah I guess most of the time its just something thats odd or sticks out of the environment

On accident sides thou have to go a bit and search for a sack in the near area near the bushes.
In which thou can find some goods.
On other intresting places like stapled Stones i also found nothing.
I think most of them are only Sightseeing.
Like the totems or relics in the Woods.

Are you finding loot at every accident? Because I had it until now just once and I thought it is kind of random.

Nope,
you are right, seems that there are also just broken wagons around.
I found an accident in the Woods with some Birdcages on the wagon
and a pack of roaming chicken on the ground… 
Therefore most of the time something interesting.
That’s pretty annoying because it means I aimlessly search when there a possibility there’s nothing. Oh well. Better than nothing at all I guess. Looks like last minute filler.
I think it adds something to the general feel and environment
and I think there’s also an achievement if you went to all interesting places
Best accident site I found up to now, was a witch who seemed to have crashed with her flying-broom.
Looked funny despite all the blood.

In my opinion, it is worth to take a look around. You never know what the car had loaded …
I guess the cool thing about it is there mostly unique hand placed assets. So I quite like it.
It makes sense to have a icon on the map from a gaming perspective, if you care about achivements. But the random stuff you find stick out enough that I would take a look around anyway to see if there was anything cool there. No real need to make a “encounter” of it imo.
