I’ve done this quest on a previous playthrough and I know you can do some investigating and find Thomas to be a crook or something.

Anyways, I’m at the start of the quest and I’ve tried a few times but I can’t seem to do much investigating. Any help? Thanks.

I talk to the Miller and he always supports Thomas, I talk Thomas and I have to persuade him or fight him (I don’t want to do either). And Jayne just sits there unable to talk. Grr!

After doing a little looking around, it seems I don’t get the dialogue option with The Miller. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thanks

UPDATE

I exhaust all my dialogue options and I can get the Miller to talk to me about his son, then his daughter talks to me, now what do I do?

I did the quest. I seem to remember completing it months ago and getting Thomas to squirm and panic when I confront him with the scarf but this time he quite confidently denied any wrong doing. Maybe I needed a stronger speech skill.

But I gave the scarf to Jayne and she just walks over to Thomas, she shows him the scarf, they stare at each other, then he runs off. Weird.
