Is it me or is lockpicking on PS4 impossible?

I have tried everything, holding the controller normally, holding it flat on a table with the analog sticks between 3 fingers, nothing works. I literally can’t get past the tutorial with Peshek so how am I supposed to be expected to pass a single mission with lockpicking? I get going for realism but FFS Warhorse, I would have an easier time picking a lock in real life!!

I’ve never had a problem picking locks or with any other minigame in my 20+ years of gaming but this is just impossible. Picking master locks in Skyrim when u were level 10 for lockpicking was much easier than this. Oh and they’re so expensive I can’t afford more than 2 at a time in the first few hours I’ve played. Why would an iron lockpick cost 18 Groschen!?! Things like this make me want to give up. Please fix this broken system Warhorse, games are supposed to be fun and this is the complete opposite. I don’t want to dread having to do missions with lockpicking or even worse, pickpocketing which I hear is even more torturously difficult.

Turn off the vibration of your controller.

In the beginning it is really challenging.
But the more levels you get and of course the first perks it will be much easier.
Try to save some money, buy some lockpicks, sleep till midnight and train on very easy or easy locks.
And as soon you master lockpicking youn dont need pickpocketing anymore

It’s just you. Lockpicking is easy. Also they’re making it easy for you guys in an upcoming patch. So you can always just wait for that to drop.

I tought lockpicking was way too hard, until i learned one little detail about that minigame:

Your pick doesn’t really break because you aren’t accurate enough, it breaks because you’re too slow.

Just try and turn the lock pretty fast, in one fluid motion. You don’t need to be super accurate, because the lock will just stop turning if you leave the sweet spot (but it shouldn’t break your pick)
