Is it possible to change username on the forum?

the question is in the title, and may seem naive, but is it possible to change username without loosing posts and keeping the same email reference and quotes, etc… ?

I know from personal experience any changes to your name breaks any links to previous posts.

I got my name capitalized awhile back.

Greeeeeeeeetings, I can change that for your but, if I do so, this will happen:

If you change your username, all prior quotes of your posts and @name mentions will be broken. Are you absolutely sure you want to?
