everytime I try and do the contest to get the wine for the royal wedding came doesn’t load the screen to start contest aroows are given and load screen just stays there…

I did not have any issue with this quest.
It loaded fine for me. I’ve had other archery contests where the participants didn’t fire arrows.
The game does seem to bog down after a while of playing. I usually close and restart the application every couple of hours.
Although I have had the game fail to load some things for me. Sometimes just a blank screen, sometimes an infinite loading screen.
As I am unfamiliar as to what that one is… I’m going to say, no… with a slight chance of “Maybe”?
Its so annoying if you got it you remember it 
I just cant play… main mission completely bugged…
May have to start a new game or try reload very old save game.
I dont have fun since last night main quest bug.
(heavy sigh) I understand. I lost 40 hours through a combination of a bugged out side quest and poor timing to clean out some old save files. I put the blame at 50/50. I will say that I managed to make up the time in a mere, 15 hours. As you can skip a lot of the cutscenes, and you also have a better grasp of the combat and various mechanics. Even if Henry is still a fresh faced blacksmiths boy, who only knows that the pointy end of the sword goes into the man.
You can try and do a new game in a fresh playslot and hope that 1.3 (when it does come out) will fix the the problem.

I dont know what i will do… but i can say i did not play alpha and beta just to not have those kind of fatal issue.
Some glitch, game freeze, crash, … i can deal with it but a finished game that came to be unplayable its not what i expected. I waited years for this game… i guess i can wait for the next patch
