Is the translation dialog final? English Language version still needs work

Its been a bit since I checked the board and it looks like nothing else has been said about the use of the f-word in the English dialog since last year. I know its a translation into more modern English but I think finding a different word would help with the immersion, it rings to modern for my ears.

I recall asking the devs about it last year when the discussions were going around and they said they were not happy with it yet but it does not look like it has changed so wondering if we have the final.

I am not alone in this either, seems like others on the forum had similar views, my brother was visiting and I had him jump on my sons computer to check out the game, after going through the game for a bit, me being excited to see what he thought his first words were “Whats with all the F-words, just walking through town and the peasants are dropping them at random”. He is a military soldier so is use to it being used every other word, so for him to have that as his first response was telling to me, I happen to agree, it does not feel medieval, don’t care if they used it or not, its very part of our modern society.

Love to hear from the devs to see if this got any more traction.

No, it is still not a final decision yet.

Swive is a slightly later term that shares meaning and usage with fuck.

Sard is another that would work, i’d like to see shit pronounced with the long version like “shyt” also, feels better.
