so i was riding down the road and seen one bandit group arguing with and then fighting another bandit group i noticed one of them had this shield. i think its new because i never seen it before have you ?

it was in hardcore so i have no clue , i was on a road near rovna riding toward talmberg. i was lost , i thought i was riding to and in the direction towards of talmberg. when i came out of the treeline i was pretty much at rovna. so i got on a road heading toward talmberg direction and seen these two bandit groups about to fight. lol
Huh. Interesting. Maybe it’s only in Hardcore Mode? As like, a mini reward or something?
Seems like they added more stuff besides Runt. I also never saw such shield.
I got one from a really tough bandit from a roadside ambush and not hard core a few real days ago. SOB actually took a bit of doing to kill.
same here, got it recently out of an ambush. Normal mode.
I have seen it twice. Once on some roadside bandit and an the Wolf guy (can’t recall the name)
that had a camp north of Rattay.
This appeared some time later when y0u had high level and had luck on encounters to meet those crazy armored guys.
But there are new items, armors and weapons in the game.
There is another new to me one. It is red and has a white heart in the middle with gold flames out the top and gold heat waves all around the heart… Sry not set up for screen shots.
I get this one if I console command to add a heavy shield
the one your talking about is on a bandit in vranik. its been in the game since the start. i have it in my post “every shield in kcd” i always said it looked like a flaming onion 
Never had time in veranik to go loot shopping to notice, especially at 5-10 FPS

I was surprised at how difficult it was to fight those guys off. I’m glad higher level enemies have been added
saw it. it doesn’t do much for me. i prefer the boar or flaming heart versions. wish they’d add more shields and stuff from beginning of the game.
that one is sweet, if u build the armor store for the black smith in the new dlc, u can buy that shield from him now to.
since i use to tell people you get that shield from the quest robber baron , i just want to say that you dont get it from that quest anymore. i just did it Sunday, the man now has the shield with the flaming onion (yea i know its a heart) . im guessing mostly every already knew this lol. but on all 3 of my initial play through s it was the boars head lol.
that sucks. now if WH could just hang that dang boar shield on the wall of the Pribyslavitz Boar brewery … and plant some hopvines in the vast open space next to the tavern.
read that gruit beer (sans hops; use wormwood or some other plant to impart bitterness) was popular elsewhere in Europe and Czechia/Bohemia was one of the places from whence hop beer developed and expanded … eventually even making headway in the land of ales, England. would be nice to play up the hop connection in our own brewery. after all, Henry had hop vines next to his Skalitz home
