Is this game still in Alpha?

Although I have gotten to Questions and Answers without any problems, I have read of so many bugs and problems with this quest I hope I can finish it! Was this game actually released as finished? It seems like there is so much more that can be done with it. Most of the game feels like just empty space, when I go into a village, there is so little going on, I was waiting for much more to happen. But it feels like its still in Alpha, and was expecting to hear a lot of about what the devs will still be adding. It is definitely not worth $60, I think $30 would be a fair price considering how much this game seems to be missing, and the horrid problems i have reading about. I hope that this is not the end of development, It feels like it is just barely flushed out with 10x more room to be filled in.

Admittedly there are quite a few bugs in this game for a full release.

Wow so original. This definitely merited yet another thread.

I spun final fantasy xv last night.

By the basis of saying KCD is worth half as much as a retail game sells for; I understand why ff xv was 80% off.

Whilst FFXV wont see anymore playtime from me (and was a ripoff for its less than $20 price point, for me),… KCD at full price is a relative bargain (based on hours I have gotten already)

KCDs longevity should prove massive.

And if this is an alpha (it isnt) then bring on the improvements.

The best thing is alpha=>beta=>release doesnt usually have game changing stuff. Usually some tightening of game systems etc.

Warhorse are going to keep building and improving this world and reimplementing all sorts of stuff.

In this regard: true, game is ‘pre-alpha’ as we are still to receive many aspects.

Awesome!

I agree. It sounds good to hear the devs are still going to work on it, it can truly become a totally amazing game. Its really good now, but if they add a ton more content, it would be re-playable for a very long time.
