It is annopying to check each NPC if they have dialogue options left

Sometimes some NPCs have dialogue options, but it is hard to find out what NPC has been “completely talked to” in midst the many face-less statists. What would be cool, if there would be some kind of feedback that you can immediately tell: “Ah, I have already used all dialogue options with this guy, dont need to check him”.

It feels not very immersive but very computer gamey and repetitive to go through a lot of redundant dialogue initiations.

You don’t have to.

What a non-constructive contribution. Yeah. You don’t have to do anything. Don’t even need to buy a PC. Also don’t have to talk on forums. Basically, you can just go and jump down that next bridge. Live is over. You won!

You need to remember that throughout the gameplay an NPC may give you a pointer to a side quest or a clue. Nothing in real life is simple, why should it be in a computer game?

Well, do you think it is a meaningful interaction? Running across the street and interacting with each of them multiple times, to make sure you have not missed a conversation.
Several factors:
-Faces are being re-used, so you cannot go by face.
-They dont all have names, but generic ones at times, so you cannot know if that guy is the same individual.

So either I feel like I could possibly have missed something, or I subject myselft to immersion breaking “dialogue spamming” by walking up to any and everyone with trial and error, spamming away the interact key. Feels very “gamey” and unrealistic to me.

Because your demand is trivial. Put markers over them?

Oh, you can mark persons? how do you do that?

I am not sure you can place a marker on a moving object, just a place on the map… If you can that is something new, not really sure how useful that would be.
