Items stolen, randomly marked as stolen, some aren't

1.6 is out, but the game still has that… feeling.

I wonder, how come some stolen items get marked as stolen, and others don’t? I am at the beginning, somewhere in a castle, and there is a room with items, and that’s where I get them from.

I would expect such detail to be fixed, or is it not fixed, because it is a detail? It is quite annoying. I would rather have stats working 200% accordingly to what they are meany to count.

I had this in 1.43. I first thought when I put them into safehouse chest, they change status to normal but no. Another conclusion was when I went to distant city, nobody recognized it as stolen… In fact, I don’t know how it happens.

I read about it, but thought of the in game stats tab. Crimes > Items stolen. That confuses me. If it is random, then it’s a bug, must be. How come items from e.g. barrel be counted as stolen, and items from a barrel next to, not.

I have had that happen since 1.6 some hides I steal from a chest are “stolen” and some are not. same for chalices and cups.
