There needs to be a way to make jail time go faster I shouldn’t be able to make a full meal irl while my character sit in prison for 30 minutes
Da fuq did you do
How many in-game days were you imprisoned for?
The most I’ve been was 2.6 days and it didn’t feel particularly long in real time, to me, but I was only in for attacking and robbing Kunesh in the prologue (and then avoiding guards until I got to Rattay)
I had a 3 day jail sentence take almost 10 minutes irl
i reckon it is actually really good it takes ages so you have to deal with the consequences
Don’t get caught.
I had an 8 day jail sentence and although it can be frustrating I like it, because it adds real consequences to your actions and makes you play smarter.
I don’t know what you are doing but don’t quit your day job!lol maybe in a future patch they will make it so you actually go to jail and can excape.
Hello guys.
I had a same problem yesterday. I got jailed for 10 days and the wait time was about 20 minutes.
But I found out, that while I was sitting in jail, my i7-8700K @ 4,3 GHz was using only 1 core of processor. At the beginning of my jail time, the circle was running smoothly, but later, it started to run more slower. And I think, this is the problem of a long jail time. It looks like 1 core is not enough = “buffer overflow”, and it is causing the long wait time (IMHO), because the game is not using full count power of CPU. Also at the beginning, I had about 20-30 FPS, but later FPS was dropped to about 10-11 FPS (asll in jail days countdown).
That is the problem of long wait time (IMHO) - single core usage, while in jail.
Have a nice day.
Interesting but i would guess that’s not the issue since the issue is the same on consoles. My 3 day jail sentence on xbox took 10 minutes, the dial started at a reasonable speed but got painfully slower the closer it got to my release time. Maybe you’re right and that issues somehow translates to consoles as well
Agreed, we payed to play a game not sit in a blackscreen for a longer period of time, if you wan’t do do this wh pay me 1 dollar for every minute I have to stay in prison because thats a minute i have lost in IRL whitout getting any enjoyment for it
Nope, the time is just right, I spent 5 days locked up and it was around 12 -15 mins irl. Not an issue, it just gives me an incentive not to get caught again that’s all.
Not entirely sure what people were expecting when they purchase a game described as a realistic medieval RPG, but then complain because it has realistic consequences for your actions in it.
This is not a pick up and play game, it’s not a game for a quick blast before heading off to do something else, it’s going to take a lot of time and practice to get good at it, and you have to be aware of your limitations or accept the consequences.
Personally I think it’s fantastic, even if I still completely suck at any form of combat even after several hours.
tell the judge your sorry and u regret what you did he might lower the time
I’ve stole over 50,000 gold and murdered 40 people and have never gone to jail. It helps I have the stinky Jannette Warehorse also (warehorse that starts with a J name, seller says she smells awful probably a play on one of the Warhorse devs)
I had a 10 day jail sentence for accidentally kicking a guard instead of yielding and while that did take forever the dumb debuff that you get after takes an eternity.
While this would be a cool system if I was doing something bad, I keep going to jail for 10 days for supposed murders. I killed a Bandit that was attacking a bunch of guards in the woods(the guards were surrendering) and a guard then accused me of murder. The guards even got up and helped with the rest, but I goto jail why? On a earlier occasion I had a similar situation happen.
I had a ten day jail sentence 5hough it didn’t help me punching a guard in the face lol
Actually an accurate simulation of what’s known as ‘short time’, lol.
I killed whole village and got… just TEN days of jail. I expected to be executed and start new game but… it’s just ten days for massacre. What’s wrong with you console gamer? You think ten days is enough for serial killer with several tens of murders in medieval age?
Well, don’t get caught.
If anything, this is better than what it would really be like back then. Go to jail if you’re in debt until the debt is payed, even if you can’t make money to pay the debt while in jail. Or if you’re caught stealing and having a hand cut off or something.
