Just a little frustrated

Is anyone else frustrated with the limited ability to respond to threads? While I like the format of Discourse, it’s kind of a pain not being able to participate fully without resorting to opening new threads, PMing people or having to “hold that thought” until a certain timeframe elapses before you can “perform that action.” Some of us older people can’t remember what we were going to say from one minute to the next much less having to remember 12 hours later, lol. I realize it’s not the end of the world, just a little annoying :frowning:

Did you try the following: Start writing a post, leave the page, write another post and then go back to the page you’ve been before? If not, give it a try. It’s a damn cool feature. It even works when you logout and login again.

Haven’t heard that one. Will definitely give it a try. Thanks!

This format of forum is certainly going to take some getting used to.

It would make life a lot easier if they split it off into sub-forums before it all gets too cluttered & unmanageable.
Also is there any easy way to get to the top of a thread without continuously scrolling up?

To get to the top of the topic click on the green arrow on lower right.

Thank you.

That works.

Just finding my way around.

As a frequent contributor, I also find it extremely frustrating.
