Just a really quick word for Valta & Sporka

Well, I know that it might be a bit late for doing so, but I just want to throw a big, fat „Well done!“ into Jan Valta’s and Adam Sporka’s face.
I’m actually more hyped for the soundtrack than for the actual game at this point. You’ve done a great job at combining the typical, kinda melodramatic style of William’s filmmusic with Dvořák’s incomparable use of woodwinds and trombones. Still, you’ve created something unique which – according to what I’ve heared so far – is still following one all-over theme just like a good symphony should do. As someone who’s playing clarinet and saxophone myself I believe that it must have been great fun for the musicians to play, it’s in itself simple and majestic at the same time, but also really exciting due to the well executed use of tempo and intonation. You’ve kinda pulled off a up-speeded Smetana in what can be heared in the beginning of your “Bohemian Symphony”-video, but hey, isn’t that something to be proud of? I’m really looking forward to listening to the full track, keep it up!

I know, noone likes bumping, but seriously: I’ve just watched Gronkh’s preview and need to say that the music is glorious, excellent, outstanding - nothing less than a masterpiece. @DrFusselpulli it would be great if you could forward my admiration to the composers  :stuck_out_tongue:

Bumps are fine for a good reason. :smirk:

Oh wow, thank you so much, Ted. (And I’m sorry for having missed your original post.)

I feel honored I could have contributed to our soundtrack as a co-producer, an author of some of the pieces, and also team’s #gameaudio programmer. Working with Jan Valta has been a privilege.

The soundtrack will be available on Steam as well as some mainstream music distribution platforms very shortly after the game release.

Yes, the music and the sounds convert a good game to an authentic universe. Glad that both of you got your well-deserved video special two months ago  Concerts of film music are quite popular these days (Zimmer, Game of Thrones etc.), so maybe I can hear you with your orchestra live in my hometown at the Elbphilharmonie some day.

The symphony-verison of the soundtrack would definitely deserve to be played in public concerts. Feel free to visit the University of Ratisbona aka Regensburg if you ever do that… :kissing_smiling_eyes:
As a matter of fact I won’t be able to play KCD at release due to exams, but I usually listen to music while studying anatomy - so well, the digital soundtrack will be glorious. :yum:
