KC;D Ports + the Story Acts

ok so…

i beliieve. Kingdom Come Deliiverance can work on Nintendo Switch

also whats thiis i heaar about Act 1 and Act 2 of KCD on one game, and on Game II is Act III
why iis the story being split into two games. also some other stuff i hear, the Game world is small

Some old woman said… don’t believe rumors.
I do not know about it being on Switch. It could work but is it sold specifically? That is real question.
Game was planned to be released as Act 1, than another game as Act 2, last game as Act 3. But developers had enough money and Act 2 was going to be quiet short, so they merged them together. I’m still unsure what is going to happen to Act 3. This one is supposed to be the longest Act of three. World being small is subjective opinion. It should not be small as Faranga island from Risen and maybe a bit smaller than Skyrim from Elder Scrolls.

maybe put Act 3 as DLC is fine

really, just not seprate game disc for Act iii alone

Uh…KC:D is looking at around 60-ish hours of story gameplay, and Act III is supposed to be 90-120-ish. A DLC at best (using the Witcher 3 DLC as an example) would be 10 hours at most. As much as I and probably everyone else would love basically an entirely separate game as a $9.99 DLC, it’s not going to happen.

I thought they put act 1-3 all in one game?

I also thought that, but now I really can not find statement that they did mesh it all together. It only seems like first two acts. And even if I consider what they planned and calculate little, they could not make it, as they are roughly optimizing for half a year, and they planned 8-9 months for separate act. Since Beta was released in March 2016 which could be Act 1. Vavra also stated it represented 20% of all world. They would need probably another 3-4 months extra on top of optimizing to create that 3rd act, but who knows. That is just my speculation. I do not really know how long what part of development took them.

Ihave heard somewhere that separation to acts did not make sense from the story’s point of view, and they decided to pack it all together in one coherent piece. So I understand it that KCD story will be complete, from beginning to an end, without cliffhangers, “to be continued” etc.

@Flarius as well

Act I was the original game, after which was Act II and Act III would continue Henry’s story if Act I sells well enough and there is a strong fanbase to feed. Each game by itself is solely contained and capped off so that there is no, ‘‘To Be Continued.’’ It was later decided by Vavra to combine Act I and II together, so the game went from a normal 40-60 odd hours of story to 60-80 hours (Act II was to be the shortest of the three, which is why it was combined with Act I) Act III (Now to be KC:DII/2 if KC:D sells well) will be the longest of the Acts, spanning 90-120 hours supposedly. By themselves, both games will have their own beginning, middle, and ends, and will have no reliance on one another besides being about a historical conflict (The Hussite Wars) but will still continue with Henry and his own PoV of what is happening if Act III is produced. If not, then KC:D will be it’s own game with it’s own ending, tidy and clean.
