Ihave heard somewhere that separation to acts did not make sense from the story’s point of view, and they decided to pack it all together in one coherent piece. So I understand it that KCD story will be complete, from beginning to an end, without cliffhangers, “to be continued” etc.
@Flarius as well
Act I was the original game, after which was Act II and Act III would continue Henry’s story if Act I sells well enough and there is a strong fanbase to feed. Each game by itself is solely contained and capped off so that there is no, ‘‘To Be Continued.’’ It was later decided by Vavra to combine Act I and II together, so the game went from a normal 40-60 odd hours of story to 60-80 hours (Act II was to be the shortest of the three, which is why it was combined with Act I) Act III (Now to be KC:DII/2 if KC:D sells well) will be the longest of the Acts, spanning 90-120 hours supposedly. By themselves, both games will have their own beginning, middle, and ends, and will have no reliance on one another besides being about a historical conflict (The Hussite Wars) but will still continue with Henry and his own PoV of what is happening if Act III is produced. If not, then KC:D will be it’s own game with it’s own ending, tidy and clean.
