(being mischievous here towards anyone thinking of getting a console version of KC:D 
For anyone with an interest in playing KC:D or any pc rpg from the comfort of their armchairs in 4K and surround sound I can confirm valve’s ‘steamlink’ works perfectly. I’m using a ps4 controller which works fine; however, you can also as easily use a xbox gamepad or a kb and mouse.
Essentially, anyone with a 4k smart tv can stream any pc game to their tv’s as long as they have either:
A: a hard-wired lan setup
B: fast wifi
Valve have done an amazing job of implementation, in that, as long as your smart tv supports a fast enough response time (in my case 4ms) you should haven’t any trouble. my monitor has a 1 ms response time but i could hardly tell the difference and the controllers or keyboard & mice work flawlessly.
