KCD spoiled me

I dragged Radan the Bandit all the way from windmill to Merhojed camp, hoping Radzig will murder him on the spot, but he does not give two hoots…
Sometimes I wish there were even more possibilities in quest solutions. This game spoiled the RPG genre for me

Do you have your “I wish” moments, where you wished for some outcome but the script did not allow it?

A way to snitch andrew and after that do the huntsman quest :joy::joy::joy: fml

Spoiled you in the RPG department says the player with the System Shock avatar…

I loved system shock (2) so much but would only play it when the housemates were home. (Scary game)
For those who don’t know- each of the three player classes had different ways to solve the games trials (like KCD strives for)…
I still have vivid memories of my trying to hack the surveilance systems to lower the alarm level whilst my housemates held back the onslaught…

Love fonding alt ways to do things/see the options available.
I swear KCD has had dialogue opt5uons grow with subsequent patches!

I think so too that I’ve seen new dialogs in newer patches. I hope they will polish and improve current quests ad well as adding new content. There is so much room to grow.

Sebastian vom Berg.
I wanted to murder that guy so bad after that scene with Johanka and my time in prison, but it’s not possible, as he seems to be essential and cannot be harmed.

Poor Sebastian, he’s just a regular guy away from his wife spending his days in a monastery compound. I can appreciate his agitation when a woman shows. But Johanka was really the one asking to be shoveled here.

Just find out where he eats.
Put his pot full of bane potion lets see how he takes that

Another example, Ginger in a pickle.
I found those two bandits searching for Ginger. I stunned them, took their stuff, ate their food, looted their junk and then sat in their camp reading the book. The bandits woke up, attacked me again so I beat the crap out of them senselessly. I didn’t want to kill them, I just wanted to left them there naked and humiliated in the woods. Too bad the game did not let me. I had to ask Bernard to finish them off

There’s a little patch of woods just beyond the windmill where Radan the Bandit now rests eternally in my game. I wasn’t gonna have him tagging along as I went to talk to Timmy. Can’t wait to meet back up with his friends I sent on a wild goose chase to Rattay.

Somehow they didn’t notice when the last one got shot while walking away, so I could challenge them one by one in a fair duel. None of them ever arrived in Rattay.

For all the convo arc builds and alternate methods to do things… the one that seemed wrong- (kinda opposite to the grain of the thread)…
Was if you do Skalitz withoit doing the weapon training the game wont let you progress (fathers dialogue insists we go off and do swordfighting turorial before we ‘continue’)… it just doesnt fit in the slightest.
The parentals dont want me to do this…

My GF cleared town in (our household) record time (sans sword play)… having gor the pitcher last (still cool),… though being forced to ‘tutorial’,… meant after she returned to ‘Pa’,… the brew was warm.

Should have had an option to skip it.

I did dig that different levels of diplomacy had different outcomes with Kunesh,… the best speech skill not giving the outcome I expected…

The only one that my family is determined to figure out… when overnighting in Talmberg, an evening encounter (offering wine and food),… we never get to eat the food.
We have played soooo many dialogue options (using a range of diplomacy stats) in this encounter- yet they always leave having not let us eat the yummy smelling food.

Rude!

I just ignored Radan, but I knocked out Morcock and brought him to that camp. The soldiers killed him.

Then I wandered around Pribyslavitz scouting while I was “waiting” for Morcock. Somehow he never arrived.

Radan was probably tagged as friendly, so they ignored him.

You don’t need to kill them, or get Bernard to if you don’t want to. You can still progress.
